24th of Elul 5776, Yortzeit of HaChofetz Chaim
It was a busy day for Yad Yisrael Tours. A Hachnasas Orchim program, based in Pinsk, that is affiliated with Yad Yisrael is proudly going on it’s 27th year of spreading Judaism throughout the region. The village of Radin is bustling, the spirit of kedusha in the air. Once a year hundreds of Jews come to the tzadik to unload their burdens, and daven for a good year. Behind the historical building of Yeshivas Radin, the was a warm Hachnasas Orchim quarters for the privileged guests, offering hot drinks, and cakes and cookies and with full catered meals that were reserved in advance.
Yad Yisroel Tours had the honour to serve a shocking amount of around 700 people including the esteemed Chacham Busu, whom is very close with the Rebbe of Stolin; founder of Yad Yisrael. We also had the z’chus to host Rav Yisrael Meir Zaks, the grandson of the Chofetz Chaim, among many others. We also had the privilege and pleasure of making the Sheva Brachos for our students, who got married the Sunday before.
It was most definitely the liveliest, and maybe the only Sheva Brachos in Radin since the days of the Chofetz Chaim!
It was a great honour for us to take part on this holy day. May we all have a כתיבה וחתימה טובה and merit to see the Bais Hamikdash in all its glory very soon!
